We’re weeks away from the release of Avengers: Endgame and the merchandise floodgates are starting to crack open! Having just gotten final product photos of Infinity War Iron Man Mark L and the recent release of Thanos from that movie as well, Hot Toys is teasing us with the Endgame versions of both characters.
We’ll start with Thanos who comes dressed in full battle armor with trim details and weathering effect (a look I personally prefer, and which might tempt me to get this) and features two newly painted head sculpts with serious and angry facial expressions. Likely built on the same body (with the same articulation limitations) as the IW Thanos. It includes the Infinity Gauntlet equipped with LED light-up function and matching interchangeable hands mounted with all six Infinity Stones, a helmet attachable on both head sculpts, a heavy double-bladed sword, and a character-themed figure base.
The Mark LXXXV also features two interchangeable head sculpts including a newly developed unhelmeted head sculpt and an interchangeable helmeted head with LED-light up function. LED light-up functions scattered throughout the upper body, back and Arc Reactor on the chest, Nano Lightning Refocuser attachable to the back, multiple pairs of interchangeable hands for iconic gestures, character-themed figure stand with movie logo.
Hot Toys is also promising accessory packs to come with more Nano-tech inspired accessories! I’m assuming some arm cannons will be among those accessories and likely some movie-specific weapons. I hope this is a trend they’ll extend out to other figures in the future.
Both figures are likely to be up for pre-order next week.
