BATTLE ON TITAN BY ALAN PARMA

Written by | Featured, Monthly Theme

This months theme is “Movie Recreation” and we’re challenging the community to recreate scenes from their favourite films using their collection of toys and a little imagination. This time its the turn of Alan Parma sharing his work :

This is a recreation of the Titan Battle in Avengers: Infinity War, where Thanos finally grabs Spidey after getting a couple of kicks with the help of Doctor Strange.

In this basic setup, I built a generic background ruins prop out of scrap foamboard to give some semblance of the ruins of Titan, as well as turned over a building ruins prop to hide its obvious silhouette.  DIY various-sized foam board rocks litter the scene, and a sky background printed on poster paper serves as the main background. I also used my custom Dr. Strange cloth cape to cover the Infinity Gauntlet. Finally, I used my ultrasonic mist maker to add some atmosphere and depth.

I shot this on the Panasonic GH2 kit lens, at 32mm zoom.

A huge thank you to Alan for sharing his work for our Monthly Theme. Be sure to find more of his work via his Instagram portfolio @late_toy_show
