I have been putting aside my initial idea of setting up some shots of the One/12 Collective Dr Strange in favour of the Catwoman figure which you guys have seen in my last gallery of shots. I started unboxing the Dr Strange figure late last week and started playing around with the figure and I was really impressed with it.
This figure is based on the classic look of Dr Strange from the Marvel comics and it is a beautiful figure. The headsculpt is by far the best comic book version of Dr Strange in my opinion and it was a shame that Mezco did not give us an extra one like they normally do with their normal releases. Based on lesson learnt from my previous encounter with the Catwoman figure, I heated up all the joints of the figure with a hair dryer. The joints on the arms and shoulders are a bit stiffed on my figure and so I had to be careful when opening up the arms.
The figure comes with its usual array of hands like any normal Mezco figure. It comes with an opened and closed Eye Of Agamotto and a wired Cloak Of Levitation, which is cool. Mezco also gave us a Dr Strange astral projection which can be mounted onto the figure stand which it comes with.
Next up, we have two versions of magic effects which you can insert onto the hands. It comes with a yellow and blue color versions and these are definitely better looking than the ones that comes with the Marvel Legends figures.
Overall, I love the figure and its refreshing to have a figure which is not the muscular type one which we have seen on the Daredevil, Punisher and Captain America figures to name a few. I had a great time setting up these shots for you guys and let me know what you think of them by commenting below.
