Earlier today, Hot Toys unveiled a double dose of Boba Fett 1/6th scale action figure awesomeness with the reveals of a standard and deluxe version of the bounty hunter as he appears in The Empire Strikes Back. First and foremost, this Hot Toys figure looks absolutely stunning, and features every detail a Star Wars fan would want in a high end Boba Fett action figure. Every detail of his intricate armor is captured brilliantly, and his cloth outfit brings a sense of realism to the figure. He just looks like the definitive 1/6th scale Boba Fett, so this guy will be hard to pass up on in 2018.
The main difference between the deluxe and standard versions of this Fett are in his armor pieces. The Deluxe version will come with all new armor pieces and a helmet, jet pack, and hands, which all reflect what the character looked like during pre-production. Apparently, a few costume changes were made for his final appearance in Empire, so the deluxe version of this figure will make Boba look like he was initially meant to look like before the cameras rolled.
You can check out images of the Hot Toys Empire Boba Fett below. Again, the only difference between the two versions are the extra armor pieces, so everything else will be the same. At this time Sideshow doesn’t have either Fett up for pre-order, but they should be there later today or tomorrow, so bookmark the Star Wars Hot Toys page to make sure you can pre-order him as soon as he goes live. I would assume pricing will be between $235 and $280. Stay tuned for more details.
