Mezco One : 12 Collective Spider-Man : Homecoming

Mezcotoyz teased us with their prototype One :12 Collective Spider-Man : Homecoming figure at SDCC 2017, to our surprise they’ve open up pre-orders for this bad boy!

Based on the pictures posted by Mezcotoyz, the figure looks impressive. The costume itself is very movie accurate and I love the fact that it features a new body sculpt that is based on the teenage frame of Spider-Man in the movie.

I am kicking myself for ordering the SH Figurarts version of the Spider-Man : Homecoming! Of course, one begs to question whether can we get the Mezco one into those crazy dynamic Spidey poses that we’ve come to love from the comics and also the movies? I’ve seen the reviews and pictures of the SH Figurarts one and you could really get it into those dynamic poses but if you think that getting the figure into poses like these are fine by you, I would say go for the Mezco one.

The weblines that come with the figure are impressive as well. You also get three highly detailed heads as compared to only one head with interchangeble eyes from SH Figurarts.

I like how the web wings are attached to the figure. Definitely better than the ones from the Marvel Legends version. This accessory is another selling point for this figure and he looks really cool with the wings attached!

So at the end of the day, if soft goods are your cup of tea and you’re not too crazy about getting your Spidey into those dynamic poses, I’d say go for this one. The web wings definitely sealed the deal for me. An unmasked Tom Holland head would have made the deal sweeter!

The price for the figure is $80 and estimated shipping date is from June to September 2018, which may put some of you off. That’s a whole year of waiting, folks!
