Sideshow will have yet another new premium format figure to show off at SDCC this year, and it is a Star Wars figure. In particular, it’s a Stormtrooper, which raises the question, “How special could this figure really be?”

I mean a Stormtrooper is a Stormtrooper right? The tease didn’t mention the words “Death” or “Scarif,” so we have to assume it’ll be a standard Imperial Stormtrooper. Maybe he’ll be a stylized version in partnership with Square Enix, because Sideshow and Square have teamed up before for radical takes on classic pop culture character. Either way we should get more news and imagery during SDCC, so stay tuned for details.

You can also sign-up for email alerts on this collectible’s availability.
