“I Can Carry You!”

“Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can’t carry it for you… but I can carry you!” One of the most memorable moments in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Samwise Gamgee musters all his remaining strength for the final push up Mount Doom, where he and Frodo Baggins must destroy the One Ring and save Middle-Earth. The beautifully executed scene always brings a tear to my eye, as Sam reminds us that there is still beauty and goodness in this world, and that it is worth fighting for. The Lord of the Rings is ultimately a story about never losing hope, no matter how dark things may seem.”

“I’m always trying to think of ways to photograph the entire main cast of Rogue One. This idea came to my head when I wanted to do something a little more dramatic. I had this vision of recreating that last scene in Rogue One with Princess Leia and the ghostly silhouettes of the Rogue One main cast using Star Wars The Black Series 6″ figures, with the exception of Bodhi. I scaled an image of him from the web, printed him out then made him into a cutout. I recreated the Death Star plans Leia is holding on Adobe Illustrator, printed it out on card stock and cut it out.”

“Sunset Mandolorian”

“After a long day of rebelling and saving the galaxy, Sabine escapes to enjoy the beautiful Lothal sunset.”
